No… I wasn’t goofing around or mentally impaired when I played the following game. Normally, I don’t bring too much attention to blitz games, but this one remains memorable since I unleashed one of the most bizarre tactics of my chess career.
Please don’t take this as inspiration to develop your king to the center in every game you play. Instead use this example to be creative in your own games. Keep an open mind, and search for moves you wouldn’t normally consider. Chess games are often won by seeing something your opponent doesn’t.
